The 2010 Aussie Millions Opening Event kicked off yesterday with an impressive line-up. The day 1A field included Eric Assadourian, Emad Tahtouh, Tony Hachem, Jonathan Karamalikis, Matthew Pearson, "Toothpick Tony", James Broom, Dave Lee, Mitch Carle, Ben Delaney and Dean Nyberg.
The DeucesCracked crew led by Jay Rosenkrantz and Vanessa Selbst were out in force, along with Amanda De Cesare and Josh Budin of "The Poker Star" fame.
In the end, Xen Xenofontos - sits with a mammoth 186,300. His closest rivals are experienced players Chris Chronis (147,600) and Tony Hachem (136,600).
In all 51 players made it through day 1A leaving 276 players available to return for the repechage flight, along with the players eliminated in todays Day 1b flight and any direct buy-ins, which means we're well on target for a million dollar prize pool.
