Media Guidelines

Please read the following guidelines and acknowledge your acceptance of each of these items by ticking the boxes

2. Please see the Media Guidelines that have been developed by Crown Melbourne Limited (Crown).
3. Crown reserves the right to approve or deny accreditation applications. Completion of the official application does not guarantee accreditation and accreditation is not guaranteed on previous years’ attendance.
4. The official title of the event is Crown’s Aussie Millions Poker Championship and this title should be used in all media - related coverage.
5. The official logos of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship should not be used, unless specific written permission is provided by Crown.
6. Your personalised Accreditation Pass must be worn at all times when on-site at the Crown Entertainment Complex.
7. Accreditation does not authorise photography or filming outside of tournament areas including the main Casino Gaming Room Floor area, Hotels, Pool and Spa areas, Restaurants and other areas without the advanced written consent of Crown.
8. Crown patrons are not to be photographed under any circumstances, other than on tournament tables inside the Crown Poker Room on Level B2, Aussie Millions HQ (The West End at Crown).Flash photography is strictly prohibited.
9. No Accredited Organisation shall obtain more than three minutes of continuous video footage, and no more than 30 minutes of total footage, of any general tournament play without the prior written approval of Crown. Video footage may not be sub-licensed without the prior written approval of Crown. Filming must not interfere with the conduct of any gaming, the event or with the production of any dedicated television show.
10. Accredited media are allowed entry into the tournament area strictly at the discretion of Tournament Management and Media Relations Department.
11. Accredited media may not speak with or in any other way distract players during any tournament while they are seated at the tables. This act is subject to immediate ejection. The only acceptable time to approach a player is during the breaks in action or when a player steps away from the table voluntarily.
12. Credentialed media displaying or otherwise promoting any product or service on the grounds of Crown Entertainment Complex will be deemed to be non-working media and have their credentials revoked.
13. Crown may require Media Organisations to execute its standard Location Release if filming (or photography or other recordings) is to take place. As Crown has entered into third party agreements regarding the filming of the Tournament, footage or photographs may only be used in accordance with these Media Guidelines and the Location Release.
14. Accredited media must conduct themselves in a professional manner. Tampering with an Accreditation Pass in any way, being in possession of an Accreditation Pass that has been tampered with or otherwise defaced, drinking or being under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicant/s at any time when on the Crown premises will result in the accreditation being immediately revoked by Crown and you may be removed from the Crown Entertainment Complex.
15. All accredited Media must sign terms and conditions of accredited entry when collecting accreditation.
16. Any breach of these Guidelines will result in your accreditation being immediately revoked by Crown and you may be removed from the Crown Entertainment Complex.

18. Aussie Millions Accreditation, and any specific access or benefit granted, is a privilege and not a right. All Applicants agree to abide by the terms and conditions, show consideration for the Tournament’s policies, and respect colleagues, officials, Tournament staff and administrative personnel. Crown Melbourne Limited values the contribution of the media and seeks to maintain positive professional relationships throughout 2012 Aussie Millions Poker Championship. Crown Melbourne Limited may revoke accreditation at its absolute discretion.
