Three Phase Satellite Program

The Crown Poker Room will again be offering  poker players many opportunities to qualify for Aussie Millions events at a fraction of the entry fee, with an extensive satellite program which has already begun.

By far the most popular of all Crown’s satellites is the 3 Phase program.

Phase 1
Starting at just $65 for Phase 1 players can choose between either the single table or multi table format. With a generous 2,000 chip start bank and 20 minute levels, players have a one in five chance of advancing to Phase 2. From November onwards Crown will run Phase 1 satellites every Monday Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 7.10pm as well as Saturday afternoons at 4.10pm. Single table Phase 1’s will run on demand from the list on Tuesdays Saturdays and Sundays replacing the regular sit and go’s. There are more chances than ever before to win your $10,500 entry for as little as $65. Phase 2
Players can enter any Phase 2 satellite by either producing their valid general ticket (won via Phase 1) or by a direct buy in of $250.  The structure is similar to the Phase 1 but with an increased start bank of 2500. Again players have a one in five chance of advancing to Phase 3. The Phase 2 satellite has proved to be successful for many players including Crown local Antonio Casale who turned his $250 entry into $300,000 when he finished 6th back in 2008.

Phase 3
The ultimate satellite is the third and final phase of this program. Players can enter any Phase 3 satellite by producing their valid ticket (won via Phase 2) or direct buy in of $1,150.  The Phase 3 Satellite structure is widely regarded as one of the best in the world with a 5,000 chip start bank and 30 minute levels. Players will have every opportunity to play their best game and try to advance to their dream goal, the $10,500 Aussie Millions Main Event. Players have a one in ten chance of getting there which to most is the decision maker for choosing this satellite. Countless numbers of players have come through all three phases to win a seat into the main event, and many have made a deep run which has ended in a big pay day.

Freezeout Satellites
Crown will again offer a number of freezeout satellites for both the Main Event as well as the Opening Event. Proving extremely popular last year these satellites are sure to attract big numbers once again, giving players even more value for money.

Thursday Night $120/$100 Rebuy Satellite - $10,500 Main Event
Crown will again bring back one of the all time favourite satellites every Thursday night at 7.10pm starting 10 December. Averaging between four and five Main Event seats per satellite, players will once again turn up in big numbers to try and qualify through this tournament. Like all Rebuy satellites this event also has the option of a single, double or triple add at the first break regardless of their stack size, giving them the opportunity to build a big stack and hopefully win their way through.
